For icing

1 (8 ounce) cream cheese 

1 cup butter (margarine) 

1 1/2 lbs powdered sugar 

12 ounces Cool Whip 

1 pinch salt 

1 teaspoon vanilla 

0.5 (5 ounce) evaporated milk 

1 1/2 cups coconut
